Drochia hospital received help from Slovakia to fight COVID-19

Chisinau, 24 April /MOLDPRES/- Drochia district hospital Nicolae Testemitanu will benefit from financial support from Slovakia in the fight against coronavirus. This is the first Slovak small grant project to combat COVID-19 in the Republic of Moldova.
"The project will help Drochia hospital improve health care conditions in preventing and combating the consequences of COVID-19," a release of the Slovak Embassy in our country reads.
Thus, the medical institution will benefit from a contribution of ten thousand euros, which will allow the purchase of five multifunctional beds, especially useful in critical cases for patients who have to stay in bed for a long time.
An industrial electric generator (50kW) will also be purchased as a backup source for the most requested sections, such as emergency, intensive care and surgical departments.
"Other similar projects to combat COVID-19 will follow soon," said the Slovak Embassy in Chisinau.
