Maia Sandu gets 53 per cent of votes, Igor Dodon – 46 per cent after processing of 96 per cent of reports

Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 2,078 (96.97 per cent) of the reports from those 2,143 polling stations opened at the 15 November presidential elections have been processed. As many as 53.57 per cent of the citizens voted for the candidate of the Action and Solidarity Party, Maia Sandu, and 46.43 per cent opted for independent candidate Igor Dodon.  

According to data by the Central Electoral Commission, 1,387, 392 came to vote till 21:00, which accounts for 48.45 per cent.
