All polling stations from Moldova closed

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ - All polling stations from Moldova closed at 21:00. Three polling stations were closed before this hour, as all ballot papers ended.
According to data by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), till 21:00, 1, 387, 190 people came to vote till 21:00, which accounts for 48.4 per cent of the people registered in the electoral lists. Most voters were women, about 54.33 per cent and the most active citizens were ones with ages between 56 and 70 years – over 442,000 participated in the ballot. At the same time, the number of people with ages between 18 and 25 years increased – 117,000 people came to vote.
CEC informed that three polling stations from abroad – in Frankfurt, London and Montreal, closed before 21:00, as the maximal number of ballot papers, 5,000, received from Moldova, exhausted.
Statistics data shows that the presence at the vote is higher than at the presidential elections from 2016, when 50.95 per cent of the number of electors recorded in the lists voted.
