Cantemir district hospital building thermally optimized

Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/- Cantemir district hospital building was thermally rehabilitated under an investment project implemented by the South Regional Development Agency (ADR Sud) from the sources of the National Fund for Regional Development. A reception commission has recently assessed the work carried out at the medical institution and found that it was carried out in accordance with the legislation.

"Energy efficiency measures are increasingly recognized as a means to achieve a sustainable energy supply, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve security of supply and reduce costs. That is why energy efficiency is a priority for us, and such investment projects, such as the energy efficiency of the Cantemir district hospital are very necessary and important ", ADR Sud director Maria Culeșov said.

The project - Thermal rehabilitation of the Cantemir district hospital, which started in 2017, is implemented by ADR Sud from the National Fund for Regional Development. It aims to increase the comfort of the hospital's surgical block by improving the consumption of thermal energy inside the building.

The works under the project amounts to 12.16 million lei. The investment project is for the benefit of about 63 thousand citizens, residents of Cantemir district, who go to the district hospital for assistance and medical care.
