5,220 houses purchased through First Home program

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/- Through the First Home program, 5,220 homes have been purchased so far. The total amount of loans granted by banks is 2.62 billion lei, and the total value of active guarantees is 1.31 billion lei.

According to the Ministry of Finance, out of the total number of beneficiaries, 3,601 are families, and 1,619 are unmarried young people. The average age of the applicants is 31 years. Also, out of the total number of beneficiaries, 836 persons benefit from compensations from the state budget under the program First Home 2, 2085 - First Home 3, 589 - First Home 4 and 7 - First Home 5.

The beneficiary of the First Home can be a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, aged between 18 and 50 years, who is officially employed at a state institution or private company in the country and has income from official sources.
