Moldovan cabinet approves amendments to Government's Action Plan

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today voted a string of amendments and updates made to the Government’s Action Plan (PAG) for 2021-2023.  

According to the government’s communication and protocol, the document sees the planning, working out, approval, monitoring and assessment of the documents of public policies adjusted based on the updated list of the medium-term priorities of policies, as well as of the findings of the public authorities’ reports on carrying out the actions included in PAG.   

The main amendments of the Plan regard the re-designing during time of the actions which have remained unimplemented in the first nine months of 2020, proceeding from the need to observe all stages in the elaboration of normative acts or under the influence of domestic and external factors; inclusion of the new actions, most of which come from the calendar of monitoring the carrying out of the debts of the national action plan for the implementation of the Association Agreement 2017-2019, for the period 2020-2023 and the Matrix of post-Covid-19 social and economic improvement policies; exclusion of actions which during time proved to be inopportune/irrelevant for carrying out on the period regarded by the Plan or without financial coverage; maintaining the actions which have been already carried out, in order to ensure the traceability on the entire period of its implementation – 2020-2023.     

The amended Government’s Action Plan for 2020-2023 contains 931 actions, of which: 423 actions (about 45 per cent) were preserved intact; 179 actions have been already carried out (19 per cent); 263 actions were modified (29 per cent); 66 new actions (7 per cent).   

The action plan was updated based on central public authorities’ proposals and consulted through the platform www.particip.gov.md.
