People guilty of violating graves to be sanctioned with fines up to 47,500 lei in Moldova

Chisinau, 4 December /MOLDPRES/ - The violation of graves will be sanctioned with fines worth up to 47,500 lei. The parliament today approved a draft on amendment of the legislation to this effect in the final reading.
Under the draft, the violation of graves will be sanctioned with fines worth up to 47,500 lei or non-remunerated work for the benefit of the community from 180 to 240 hours or up to two years of imprisonment.
At the same time, the Contravention Code will regulate, as contravention, the action of graves’ violation. The contravention sanction, under the draft, will be up to 1,800 lei.
