As many as 5,231 dwellings purchased through First Home programme in Moldova

Chisinau, 7 December /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 5,231 dwellings have been bought through the First Home governmental programme so far. The overall sum of the loans provided by banks is of 2.63 billion lei and the total value of active guarantees is of 1.31 billion lei.
A number of 3,611 out of all beneficiaries are families and 1,620 are young unmarried people. The average age of the applicants is 31.3 years. Also, 847 people out of all beneficiaries enjoy compensations from the state budget within the First Home 2 programme, 2,118 – within the First Home 3 programme, 603 – within the First Home 4 programme and 7 – within the First Home 5 programme, the Finance Ministry said.
The sum of compensations provided from the state budget to partially cover the spending borne by beneficiaries to pay the mortgage loan within the First Home programme is 30.22 million lei. Thus, compensations from the state budget worth 7.20 million lei were provided within the First Home 2 programme, 19.83 million lei – within the First Home 3 programme, 2.58 million lei – within the First Home 4 programme and 1,800 lei - within the First Home 5 programme.
The average area of the dwellings purchased within the programme is of 60.29 square metres. The average value of the dwellings bought is 599.85 thousand lei.
According to the quoted source, 4,890 out of all dwellings bought are placed in urban zones and 341 – in rural ones. As many as 4,792 dwellings purchased are flats and 439 – private houses.
Any Moldova’s citizen with ages between 18 and 50 years, who are officially employed at a state institution or private company from Moldova, and have incomes from official sources, can be beneficiary of the First Home governmental programme. The share of the initial own participation is 5 per cent of the dwelling’s purchasing price.
