Moldovan cabinet approves regulation on flights of civil, state airships

Chisinau, 9 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan cabinet members today approved a Regulation on the authorization and use of the national air space by the civil and state airships.   

The regulation establishes the procedure of authorization of flights in the national air space, as well as the conditions in which the takeoff and landing of civil airships can be made also from/on other grounds than the airdromes. The provisions of the document apply to: all private people and legal entities who make air operations and civil and state airships in the national air space, no matter the citizenship, respectively, the nationality of these persons and no matter the categories of airships used also by the state of their registration/identification; owners and/or managers of lands for the takeoff/landing of light airships and ultra-light flight apparatus.     

The present decision enters into force upon the expiration of six months after the publication date. Till the entrance into force, the Civil Aviation Authority, Defence Ministry and the authorized provider of air navigation services will ensure the publication of information provided for in the Regulation approved and will establish common procedures on the transmission of data and mutual informing, seen in the aforementioned Regulation.

The control over the fulfillment of the present decision is entrusted with the Economics and Infrastructure Ministry.
